Catholic Religious Australia (CRA) strongly condemns the attacks by Hamas militants against Israeli civilians and calls for the safe and immediate release of Israeli hostages in Gaza.

Catholic Religious Australia (CRA) was invited to make a submission to consider the connection between dwindling living standards and increasing corporate profits by Professor Allan Fels AO, who is leading an Inquiry into Price Gouging and was the former Chairman of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.

Catholic Religious Australia (CRA) has long been a vocal supporter of the Uluru Statement from the Heart and is proud to support a constitutionally enshrined First Nations Voice to Parliament, as will be proposed at the upcoming Referendum on 14 October.

At the invitation of Catholic Religious Australia (CRA), Dr James Alison, a prominent theologian, priest and author, will be speaking at events around the country from 18 September to 18 October 2023, to promote conversation and outreach in the Church on matters concerning LGBTQIA+ people.  

The Australian Catholic Bishops Conference and Catholic Religious Australia have published a report updating the Church’s progress in implementing the relevant recommendations of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.
